What do you need to rent a jet ski?
- Boating licence: the rules differ per country. At many destinations you may ride without a licence in a marked zone or under supervision; elsewhere a licence is required. Each jet ski shows upfront what you need.
- Age: the driver usually has to be at least 18 years old. Passengers can often be younger, in consultation with the rental partner.
- Deposit: many rental companies ask for a deposit that you pay on site. The amount is always shown with the jet ski.
- ID: bring a valid passport or ID card to the departure point.
