Turquoise water, white beaches and sunshine all year round: the Caribbean is one of the most beautiful places in the world to rent a boat, catamaran or jet ski. From the familiar ABC islands to the Bahamas and the Dominican Republic: here you will find all of Ghesia’s Caribbean destinations in one place.

Why go boating in the Caribbean?
- Sun in winter – while it is cold back in Europe, temperatures here are around 28 to 30 degrees.
- Clear water – ideal for snorkelling from the boat, with turtles, coral and tropical fish.
- Familiar for Dutch travellers – on Curaçao, Aruba, Bonaire and Sint Maarten many people speak Dutch.
Best time to go boating
Curaçao, Aruba and Bonaire lie south of the hurricane belt: you can go boating there all year round, with a cooling trade wind. On most other Caribbean islands, December to April is the best period. The hurricane season runs from June to November, with the greatest chance of storms from August to October.
